Duplex Steel Tubing S32205 is made up of 22% chromium, 5–6% nickel, 3% molybdenum, and nitrogen, which gives it a well-balanced austenitic-ferritic structure. This unique composition provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It boasts impressive mechanical strength, with a tensile strength of about 620 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 450 MPa. The material also offers great fatigue resistance, good weldability, and remarkable toughness, even in low temperatures, making it perfect for harsh and corrosive settings.
